Islamic Revolution’s Victory A Manifestation of Quranic Teachings’ Realization: Iran Culture Minister
Addressing the closing ceremony of Iran’s 38th international Quran competition here in Tehran on Saturday evening, Mohammad Mehdi Esmaeili noted that the revolution’s victory led to the establishment of the Islamic Republic in Iran.
He said Imam Khomeini’s (RA) uprising was a Quranic one, adding that how the situation of the Quran in society was elevated after the revolution shows the Quranic nature of the revolution.
According to the culture minister, the Islamic Revolution, blessed by the Holy Quran, is shining in the region and internationally.
He further stressed the need for promoting acquaintance with the Quran in society as a main educational objective in a religious society.
Esmaeili added that the Holy Quran is the basis of all activities in the Culture Ministry and promoting the Quranic culture is the main purpose of its programs in various areas.
He further thanked all of those contributing to the organization of the international Quran competition, especially the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization.
The final stage of the 38th international Quran competition of Iran had kicked off on Monday.
A total of 62 qaris and memorizers from 29 countries competed in this stage of the event, which was held virtually.
